The word “koinonia” means “community. On Wednesdays for worship we worship as the One Body of Christ. This diverse time of worship is for the whole people of God. In breaking with the past tradition, this worship service is not focused on Confirmation-age youth. All ages are welcome. The preacher focuses on the Gospel story for the week. Holy Communion is celebrated. There is live worship music.

As morning breaks each day that God is making for us, we gather to hear the First Word for us. This hymnal-based worship service is accompanied by the organ and the piano. The language of worship focuses on the traditional texts used by the Christian Community throughout the Ages.
|
Each worship service we are “sent out” into God’s good world, our mission field. This worship service is centered around the themes of discipleship in daily life as we participate in God’s mission for creation. The language of worship lifts up current words of faith used by God’s Church. Worship is accompanied by a variety of instruments, including piano and praise band.
